These are the games our butlers run at real bachelorette parties, written out so you can run them yourself. Free to read, free to play. Or book a butler and he runs every one of them while you drink.
Spinster party, hen do, bachelorette: three names for the same night. Whatever your crew calls it, these spinster party games work the same way, from PG warm-ups to the ones you delete from the group chat afterwards.
Two rules and the night runs itself. First, do not try to play all ten — pick four, in this order: something easy to warm the room up, two loud ones in the middle, and one soft one at the end so people leave feeling close. Second, somebody has to call it. If that is you, you are not at your own party.
Most of these need nothing but a phone and a group that has had one drink. The few that need props are marked on each card, so you can buy everything in one trip.
Ordered roughly from warm-up to peak chaos.
Every guest gets a card of things the butler might do tonight — winks at someone, pours with flair, takes a selfie, flexes. Mark them off as they happen. First to a line shouts bingo.
The trick is not telling the butler what is on the card. He acts normally, nobody can play favourites, and the room spends the first hour watching him like hawks.
Truth or dare, except every dare has to involve the butler. Serenade him. Get a one-minute shoulder massage. Teach him your worst dance move.
Whoever completes their dare picks who goes next, so it keeps moving instead of stalling on one person.
Two teams, cheeky words and phrases, sixty seconds a turn. Agree the word list as a group first so nobody gets blindsided.
House rule: every correct guess earns the winning team something from the butler — a spin, a flex, a move of his choosing.
Spin the bottle. Whoever it lands on gets a lap dance from the butler, or from whoever they pick. Whoever just went chooses the next song, so nobody knows what they are getting.
Works because the songs get stupid fast. Expect at least one person to draw something no one can dance to.
Split into two teams, each led by a butler. One routine each, teams one-up each other, the room votes. Props allowed and encouraged.
This is the one that ends up on everyone’s phone, so do it while people still look good.
Two teams. Each sends its best. Butler takes it, the room scores it. Keep a running tally.
The losing team does one dare, decided by the winners, after the game is over — not during, or it turns into a different game entirely.
The butler lies down with a lime in his mouth, salt and tequila go where you would expect, and the guest takes the shot the traditional way.
Add a blindfold if the group wants it harder. Have water and a towel nearby, because somebody always misses.
Blindfold the bride and sit her in the middle. Three friends each hide a plaster somewhere on the butler. She has to find all three by hand.
The room shouts hot or cold. It takes far longer than anyone expects and it is the loudest five minutes of the night.
Each guest gets a list of flirty challenges — get a photo of him flexing, get his worst party story out of him, talk him into a stupid dance.
A point per challenge. First to finish the list assigns one dare to a butler of her choosing.
Everyone writes a confession on a paper strip and pegs it to a line across the room. The butler reads each one and guesses who wrote it.
Right guess, the writer does a dare with him. Wrong guess, he does it. Good one to end on — it gets soft and funny rather than wild.

People assume the butler is decoration. He is not — he is the reason the night has a shape. He runs the games in order, reads the room, and stops one before it dies.
You get to be a guest at your own party. That is the whole point.

Short answers. If yours is not here, text us and we will tell you straight.
No. A spinster party is what a lot of Irish, Scottish and Australian groups call a bachelorette or hen do. Every game on this page works for a spinster party, and our butlers run them the same way.
Yes. Every game on this page is free to read and free to run yourself. You do not have to book anything.
Four. Any more and the group stops paying attention. Pick one warm-up, two loud ones and one to finish on.
That is the main reason people book one. He runs the games in order, brings the props and keeps the night moving so nobody in your group has to organise anything.
Tell us beforehand. Bingo, Pictionary, the scavenger hunt and Clothesline Confessions all work without anyone having to touch anybody.
